There are two renowned improvisational or comedy theatre troupes which are very well-known within Chicago City: the I.O. and The Second City. Improvisational theatre is a more modern take on the traditional theatre. Other theater companies consist of the Victory Gardens, the Steppenwolf Theatre and the Goodman Theatre. Visitors who really want to watch Broadway entertainment at theatres can go to Cadillac Palace Theatre, Auditorium Building of Roosevelt University, Drury lane Theatre Water Tower Place, Ford Centre for the performing Arts Oriental Theatre and the bank of America Theatre. For music lovers, there are classical music presentations provided by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, which is referred to as one of the world's finest orchestras. A more diverse and multicultural counterpart of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is the Chicago Sinfonietta. For open-air concerts, there is the Grant Park, the Ravinia Park and the Millenium Park. For Ballet and dance fans, there are the Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Chicago Festival Ballet. Music lovers can even get a taste of live music from the Chicago blues, Chicago soul, jazz, and gospel. Yearly music festivals, such as the Pitchfork music festival, the Lollapallooza and the Intonation Music Festival are amongst the wonderful music highlights every year.
For tourists, Chicago City provides many attractions, like for example The Art Institute's Modern Wing, the Millenium Park, The Chicago Cultural Centre and Skydeck Chicago's The Ledge.
